I’d like to take this opportunity to extend my appreciation and gratitude to Brightleaf employees, partners, and clients for making 2020 another successful year for the company.

The year 2020 was a challenging year marked by unprecedented events and unforeseen challenges; it was also been a year of learning for all of us, either at the team or individual level. Even with the brief slowdown when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, and all other companies were scrambling to make their workforce remote, we not only moved forward, but we picked the pace and closed the year with cheers!

This year we released Generation 3 of our automated contract data extraction software with enhanced features that allows us to speed-up the bulk extraction process saving substantial time and effort while increasing accuracy.

In 2020, the success of a company was also reliant on its ability to deliver projects without compromising safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. With the ISO 27001 and 9001 recertification and SOC 2 attestation, we affirmed a strong commitment to the security of our client’s sensitive information while delivering high-quality services.  Brightleaf uses only its own full-time staff for the Legal Review process – the validation by a lawyer to ensure accuracy of EVERY attribute after extraction by our AI software; to fix any issues due to poor quality of the original data or conflicting information.

The year was filled with a multitude of challenges and victories. Every year is different but this one has been filled with more change. The business world is evolving quickly, and the means of contracting has been changing along with it, and so are we. We made great advances on the technological front and are helping companies solve problems across a wide range of use cases. With the release of Brightleaf extraction engine’s Application Program Interface (API), CLM vendors can now have Brightleaf’s powerful AI extraction software embedded into the workflow for these systems.

These accomplishments would not have been viable without our clients, partners, and the contribution of our talented and dedicated staff who, as always, are tightly aligned to both Brightleaf’s core values and our clients’ goals. We continue to focus on our cornerstones of quality, integrity, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery. We firmly believe that by ingraining these metrics into every single process and system, we can deliver cutting edge solutions that are innovative and add value to our customers.
